ANUSHI'S PIANO LESSONS
I am accepting students in-person and online! Located in Ann Arbor, MI and Naperville, IL.
From the young age of 4, I began taking piano lessons at my preschool. Since then, I've come under the tutelage of professional teachers, learned advanced pieces, and become so much more passionate for the piano. I hope to inspire and help other learners get a taste of what playing piano is like with a low cost and no commitment necessary!
Experience
I've been playing piano for 12 years since I was four to now at the age of 16. In the past, I have practiced Brahm's G minor Rhapsody on the piano at the Blue Lake Summer camp during the summer of 2018 after completing eighth grade. I also accompanied the Philharmonia or second-highest youth orchestra at Elgin on the piano at a concert for a piece that compiled West Side Story's musical soundtrack when I was a freshman in high school. In January 2019, I participated in NYSO or Naperville Youth Symphony Orchestra's concerto competition on the piano and performed Mozart's Concerto No. 19 in F Major, third movement. For this competition, I performed my selection with an internationally known conductor and pianist, Nyela Basney.
In August 2020, I began teaching piano lessons on Skype before transitioning to in-person lessons in June 2021. I have had the pleasure of teaching nine students between the ages of 6-12 during my high school piano career!
In March 2022, I, again, performed Mozart's Concerto No. 19 in F Major, third movement as a concerto finalist alongside the Neuqua Valley Symphony Orchestra before graduating high school in May 2022.
As an undergraduate student, I continue to play the piano and offer beginner piano lessons to all ages!
